Alexandra Henry
Alexandra Henry is an award winning needle artist. She has been an avid quilter and needle artist since childhood. Her first quilt, made when she was 5 years old was a crazy quilt. She also paints watercolors, portraits and pen and ink drawings. Alexandra designed needlework, including pulled thread and hardangar designs for many years before she started producing her own quilt patterns and books. She incorporates needlework in many of her quilt designs.
Alexandra uses many Pellon products, including fusible interfacing for clothing, Wonder Web and Wonder Under for applique, tearaway and fusible stabilizer for machine embroidery and Legacy™ by Pellon Batting for quilts. She loves the quality, ease of use, and flexibility of Pellon products.
She started teaching needlework and quilting while in her twenties and has taught classes all over the country. Alexandra is currently teaching at the local quilt shop in her community.
Alexandra loves to visit with friends and do swaps on flicker. Here is a link to her photostream on flicker http://www.flickr.com/photos/jardnaxela/.
